SELANGOR, 5 OCTOBER 2023 – Daiso Malaysia Group Sdn Bhd announced a monumental partnership with the KAJIMA-SUNCON joint venture, represented by Kajima (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, for the development of a cutting-edge New Global Distribution Centre (GDC) in Port Klang, Malaysia.
The GDC will serve as a global distribution hub for Daiso, facilitating the inbound logistics of Daiso products from countries such as Japan and China, ensuring the smooth outbound distribution to 22 countries and regions across Asia
and the Middle East. This strategic move will bolster the availability of Daiso products in these regions.
The signing ceremony of this transformative collaboration was graced by the presence of Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Selangor Chief Minister, as well as witnessed by Mr. Seiji Yano, President, Daiso Industries Co. Ltd, and Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman, Chairman, Daiso Malaysia Group Sdn Bhd.
